- Yousuke goes to a school called Yasogami High, which is pretty old by his standards.
- He knows a little about city life, and speaks about it with some familiarity.
- The important part here, however, is how freely he's willing to speak about friendship. While it embarrasses him, he's able to speak honestly about how he feels about it when speaking to Marie-chan and the other guy (whose name isn't mentioned). This will encourage and foster him to be honest with others when he gets into Aather, instead of trying to hide his "true self." He won't realize the full depth of his words until later on. (And by then, it likely will be too late.)
